Wed-Sat: 11am-6pm
Sunday: 12-5pm
Classrooms are open during scheduled class times.

Wed-Fri: 12-3pm
Sat-Sun: 12-4pm

Directions

From Washington, DC/ Northern Virginia:

     Follow I-95 South to Exit 160 to merge onto Gordon
     Blvd/VA-123 N toward Occoquan/Lake Ridge

     Continue to follow VA-123 N

     The Workhouse Arts Center is on the right before the 
     intersection of Rte. 123/Ox Rd. and Lorton Rd. 

From I-95 South:

                                                              Take I-95 N to VA-123 N via Exit 160B toward
                                                              Occoquan/Lake Ridge

                                                              Continue on VA-123 past Historic Occoquan

                                                              The Workhouse Arts Center is on the right before the
                                                              intersection of Rte. 123/Ox Rd. and
Lorton Rd. 

 

Inclement Weather Policies

The Workhouse Arts Center has two inclement weather policies, one for scheduled classes & workshops, and another for the Workhouse campus and administration.

Workhouse Classes & Workshops 

The Workhouse Education program (classes, workshops, camp) follows the inclement weather policy for Fairfax County Public Schools. If FCPS has implemented inclement weather action and has delayed/closed the public schools and/or programs, the Workhouse Education program will also cancel classes unless otherwise stated on the Workhouse homepage. Workhouse Campus & Administration 

The Workhouse campus and administration follows the inclement weather policy for Fairfax County Government. If the Fairfax County Government offices are closed due to inclement weather, all Workhouse studios, galleries and administrative offices are closed to the public. In the event that the Workhouse campus is closed to the public,all Workhouse programs and classes/workshops are also canceled. If Fairfax County Government is already closed (such as holidays or weekends) a notice will be posted on the Workhouse homepage. Click here to view the Fairfax County Government website. 
 

Holidays

The Workhouse campus, studios, galleries and administrative offices are closed to the public on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, Christmas Eve (after 1pm), Christmas Day, New Year's Eve (after 1pm). Only buildings with special performances, events or activities scheduled to occur will be open during those holidays.
