I am a painterly expressionist who works in oils and acrylics. My art is ever evolving as I find new subjects to paint about and new ways to express my ideas in paint. My subjects range from the stars to the earth, to the ocean, to abstracts and playful works both large and small. Basically, I love the magic of paintings.
I am classically trained and am inspired by all art that speaks to the soul including prehistoric rock art, the art of ancient Greece and Rome, Renaissance painters and architects, and modern masters such as Cezanne, Picasso, Braque, Joan Mitchell, Sean Scully and Anselm Kieffer.
