Lone Star and Laundry & Bourbon
by James McLure. A pair of related one-act plays in tandem, presented by HGL Productions.
James McLure's pair of one-act plays (Lone Star accompanied by Laundry & Bourbon) are both set in small town Texas with character arcs that overlap both stories. Lone Star is a side-splitting study of three 'good ol' boys' on a Friday night carouse in a Texas honky-tonk bar. Laundry & Bourbon features three discontented and gossiping small-town wives whose marriages are less than ideal, but a strong friendship and a splash of bourbon see them through. Directed by Harrison G. Lee.
Will Call and doors open 30 minutes prior to performance. Cash bar (beer, wine) and concessions available at venue before show and during intermission.
Performances on July 20 and August 10 at 8pm.
