My goal as a glass artist during the past several decades is to bring the brilliance, color and dimension of glass together with the art of design to form exciting visual experiences full of visions, impressions and memories. I have always been intrigued by glass as an artistic media and I have learned about many of its capabilities through class instruction at Syracuse University, The Studio – Corning Museum of Glass, and at local glass studios with nationally and internationally-know glass artists.

Education

• Created decorative fused art glass for 25+ years
• Studied art at Syracuse University
• Received class instruction in fused, kiln-formed glass locally and at The Studio, Corning Museum of Glass, from nationally and internationally-known glass artists including Roger Thomas, Rudy Gritsch, Brock Craig, Avery Anderson, Chad Holiday, Milon Townsend and others
• Teaches fused, kiln-formed glass at the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA
